My husband has a sick liver due to alcoholism and is jaundice. He was sent home from the hospital recently and was told to eat healthy foods. What foods would be most healthy for him?

I would assume the sirasana would be most effective but another thread suggested kapalabhati pranayama. But which one is better? Wouldnt sirasana create more blood flow therefore creating better hair? But the kapalabhati pranayama seems to be more recommended – why?
