Hello
My Boyfriend drinks and smokes (he smokes when he drinks but he can go without smoking for a few days if he doesn’t drink). He does drink quite a bit of wine though and probably every other night. I am always at him to stop smoking because he is not addicted and I also want him to excercise a bit and I keep telling him he would feel so much better.So now he has agreed to do a “DETOX” , meaning not smoking and drinking and me acting like some kind of fitnes guru for him-for a while.But he always needs a plan and I need to come up with one…LOL…I mean I was thinking of taking him on some hikes and obviously good healthy food.He has trouble sleeping when he isn’t drunk..so I told him after a good hike he will sleep like a baby ! So any other ideas??? How can I get all this crapp out of his systhem and make him feel sooo good that he will want to continue a healthy lifestyle?

    Not being able to sleep if you don’t get drunk is not a good sign. It might take a week or two of not drinking before he can rest peacefully at night, his body is probably just used to it. If he is willing to try it he’ll just have to deal with a few bad nights and he’ll be fine. Also, that doesn’t mean quit getting drunk, and start getting high!! You could also make crazy love to him if he sticks to it, and cut him off if he screws up, he needs a reward.
