Notable Quote———————————————————————————
He began taking painkillers and sedatives, including Valium, Ativan, and Xanax, in part to ease chronic pain resulting from an accident with stage rigging during the Dangerous Tour, and for joint inflammation associated with the lupus, but also to ease the panic attacks stemming from the allegations against him. By the fall of 1993, he was addicted.[82] His health deteriorated to such an extent that he canceled the remainder of the Dangerous World Tour and went into rehab in London for a few months, dramatically disappearing from public view with the help of Elizabeth Taylor and Elton John.[83] The stress of the allegations also caused him to stop eating, and he lost a significant amount of weight.[84] With his health in decline, his friends and legal advisers took over his defense and finances. They called on him to settle the child-abuse allegations out of court, believing he could not endure a lengthy trial.[83][84]

The tabloids painted him in an extremely unfavorable light.[85] Complaints about them included bias against Jackson, paying for stories about alleged criminal activity, and buying leaked confidential material from the police investigation.[86] On January 1, 1994, Jackson settled with the Chandlers out of court for $22 million, after which Jordan stopped co-operating regarding criminal proceedings. Jackson was never charged, and the state closed its criminal investigation, citing lack of evidence.[87]

I think they should at least make an apology….

The second case was blatant gold digging, the boy even confessed later on that he was forced to lie. But obviously that alone could not undo the damages the accusations caused in the first place.

If they lied about it, then yes. Very much so.

  2. Alex! :) says:

They should, he would never do anything like that.

    May he rest in peace

why would they? dying doesn’t make you innocent or less guilty

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it is a duck.

  5. Singin4Jesus says:

Prolly, when I watched his funeral on telly the other day i realised that there is a lot more to the situation than most people thought. I personally dont think Michael did these things, I believe he was a very good dad to his children but he didn’t grow up as fast as he should have when he had his children.

I think that the people who said these things about him feel guilty, they should do. they had no proof of him doing that… We are emotional people and sometimes judge others too quickly.

  6. Live to Fish says:

I think the accusations are true. Where there’s smoke…

  7. BBoY TiA © says:

yes think … after what they did to him …

  8. ND Fan says:

Innocent people do not pay $22 million to make charges go away…especially charges like these. If he were innocent, why would he not want a chance to vindicate himself?

No, I am not sorry in the least that I called a pedophile a pedophile.

  9. ★R.I.P★ ★ ☂ ★ MJ!!! says:

  10. Freedom Wins says:

Damn, and you Liberals said the same about Limbaugh!! To bad Jackson got caught AFTER the fact and NOT before died!!!
    Ain’t life HELL!!!?????

  11. Ms.Tiny says:

Half of those people that are against MJ don’t regret it at all. Sad truth, they’re glad he’s dead.

MJ deserves to RIP after all he has been through. He does deserve an apology. I’m sick of everybody not leaving him alone for that dumb pediphile case. He’s innocent, the media is now kissing his butt since he died and notice that when he was accused, they said very harsh comments about him.

Of course anybody would want to be a golddigger of MJ, he’s a billionaire. He’s such a sweet man with a good heart and I just don’t know why these people did him wrong and ruined his life.

    RIP MJ <3
    Never to be forgotten.

    No.

  13. Denise says:

it never crossed my mine that Micheal Jackson would do such thing ,
he loves and adores kids soooo much , he would have never abuse them .
I think he loved to have kids around because his childhood was anything but peaceful and fun and the kids helped him give him the fun he never had.
He was found not guilty ,And yes i think they regret it now.

rest in peace MJ I love you

  14. the real Jared says:

In America, innocent means innocent. Anyone still clinging to the pathetic lie that he molested children literally hates America.

  15. Dr Hook! says:

Nope. Just because he was acquitted in court does not mean after spending million$ with high priced attorneys that he was not truly guilty. Also, there are those who say he paid some victims off. Too many stories for it not to be true. He portrayed a very strange behavior when with children. If you were a parent, would you feel 100% comfortable leaving your child with him alone? I think not.

I am aware that many loved his music so much, they are in denial of his very strange behavior. I wouldn’t have left anyone under 25 with him alone.

  16. Curt J says:

No, I don’t think they regret calling him exactly what he was.

For the sake of argument however, why don’t the people who have nothing better to do with their time than making things up about Sarah Palin apologize?

  17. nobody special says:

Any 40 year old man who regularly asks other peoples children to share his bed deseved a hell of a lot more than name calling.

I personally am glad that he is dead, and am ashamed that America sees fit to give such a glowing sendoff to someone of such questionable morality.

  18. Jolly Wolly says:

Michael Jackson is the very definition of a pedophile. Pajama parties with young boys in his bed. Never land Ranch was designed to attract little boys. “But he didn’t have a childhood”, yeah that “excuse” only works when people like your music. If any average person did what he did with children their would be no doubt in your mind what his intentions were.

  19. Buckeye Bill says:

Apologize to some one that slept in beds with little boys. Not on your life.

  20. Lady Shondra says:

i saw him interviewed and he said that he did sleep with children, ‘on the floor’ but this is too weird. he was obsessed with children. his use of ‘jesus juice’, another weird things.

it is odd that now he is dead, he is a demigod, i think not! all this hype is meant for people to make money off his body. ghouls.

he tried to be white, he had ‘white’ children, who knows how and if he is even a real sprem donor, now the black community doesn’t even tell this.

he was a good musician, that is the extent of it.

our world is in deep do-do and the media is reporting on a drug addicts, possible pedophile’s death. go figure.

  21. HotKutie59 says:

I don’t think they owe him anything.

Btw, I actually liked the guy. But it isn’t their problem if he had a pain-killer problem due to pain.

The police have to take all claims seriously. If they didn’t they wouldn’t be doing their job. Thankfully thanks to Due process he was proved to be Innocent. That is why we have trials with juries to weigh the evidence.

  22. Marrtha Evanns says:

There are a lot of contradictions both ways. I keep wondering why MacCaulley Culkin didn’t speak out against the allegations more. When he spoke with Larry King and King bluntly asked him, Culkin replied, “No, not really…” If I had a friend who was in trouble and accused of something like that and it didn’t happen, I would have not replied, “no, not really…, ” as that sort of implies that it is not a definitive absolute emphatic “NO, absolutely not.” Culkin testified in court that no molestation occurred, but I am not sure if he just said that to protect his public image, as he testified that he visited the ranch a few weeks before the trial, but Jackson was not home (makes me wonder why he would visit at a time when he could not see Jackson unless he didn’t want to.” He also said in an interview that he didn’t want to be any part of the trial—if my friend needed me and nothing happened, then why not be more outspoken and want to help more. Culkin has not made any public statement since Jackson’s death which seems quite odd if nothing happened.

On the other hand, Michael did not have to allow Martin Bashir into his home and Michael had no problem admitting that boys slept in his bed, because he seemed to feel that he had nothing to hide and it was all sort a big innocent sleepover in a childlike way. It sickened me to see Bashir misrepresent and manipulate a lot of the interviews with Jackson. It seemed sort of evil and I felt very sorry that Jackson had put his trust in someone who planned all along to make him look bad. However, now Bashir must feel guilty because after Jackson died, he announced on the news that Jackson was controversial but he did not think anything criminal happened. Also, there is another documentary in response to Bashir’s that shows things during the interviews that were intentionally left out that Bashir said or Jackson said but that Bashir twisted up in an evil way.

I agree that there was some gold digging and why would a father whose claimed his son was molested be willing to take money instead of the “criminal” going to jail and making it safe for other boys? That part made no sense if it were true what he claimed.

Also, the second time that the father tried to sue made it clear to me how money-minded he was and that it probably had no truth in the first place.

But it also made no sense to me how Michael could pay someone who accused him of something that bad. I think most people would never just pay someone off, but would want to fight for maintaining their innocence.

Also, why would Jackson continue to befriend boys and invite them to have fun at his ranch even after the pay-off unless he were innocent?

Mostly, I don’t think it’s true and I feel sorry for how Jackson was misrepresented, but then, I also keep wondering why MacCaulley Culkin didn’t be more adamant that Jackson would never do anything like that. Culkin showed very little support for Jackson during his trial and said that he wanted no part of it, but that was his “friend,” unless there was a reason they were not really friends any more.

I really don’t know, but I keep wanting to think Michael Jackson is innocent and just had a lot of people trying to twist the facts into things to be used to their own fame or fortune. I just wonder why we don’t hear anything from MacCaulley Culkin. The silence is bizarre.

  23. §§pecial Unicorn™ says:

No. And what’s at work here are parents who value money over the interest of their child. Michael clearly engaged in inappropriate behavior-whether it was of sexual nature, I guess we’ll never truly know. There are three camps on this one…and I don’t think we’ll ever know the truth. (he did it, didn’t, did to an extent….) Either way, it isn’t the reason (only reason) for Michael’s troubles. He had a terrible childhood that turned him into the oddity that he was.

  24. daddylongtrips says:

Dude…..GROWN MEN do not have sleep over’s with children. GROWN MEN do not try to relive their lost child hood. GROWN MEN who do this are Pedophiles. He may not have been convicted, but that may have been because the State of Ca. doesn’t like to present a case to win against celebrity’s who contribute many $$$ to their tax base, think about OJ, think about Robert Blake, do you really think they are innocent, if so, you are totally lost dude. When people start carving up their faces to look grotesque as Michael Jackson did their are some really bad problems. He made good music, and great video’s, some of the best stuff of the 70′s and 80′s…….but he was one tormented sick Som-Afa-Beeatch
