To complete this How-To you will need: Cruciferous vegetables High-fiber foods Green tea A healthy weight Step 1: Eat your broccoli Eat broccoli, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, and other cruciferous vegetables. They’re high in indoles, which reduce levels of estrogen, a hormone that can feed breast tumors. Step 2: Increase your fiber Getting at least 20 grams of fiber a day can cut your risk, especially if you’re postmenopausal. Look for cereals and breads whose first ingredient is a whole grain. Step 3: Sip green tea Sip green tea. It contains catechins, cancer-fighting antioxidants. Step 4: Limit alcohol Limit alcoholic beverages. In one study, having two to five drinks a day increased the risk of breast cancer 1.5 times compared with teetotalers. Step 5: Eat less fat Eat less trans fat, which is found in processed foods like cakes, crackers, and cookies. High blood levels of trans fat can double your risk. Tip: The American Heart Association recommends a daily trans fat intake of less than two grams per day

Yes I drink with stevia. You are great!!

  5. popebenadict16 says:

can i ask about what exactly steve?

  6. Dave256onYT says:

I guess I’m doing good on this one. I don’t drink alcohol and I’m a type 2 diabetic so sugar is a no no. I have been drinking too much diet soda but I find that it seems to cause muscle weakness, probably due to depleting potassium. I’m left with my favorites, unsweetened ice tea (using Lipton green tea bags) and water. I have the occasional cup of coffee and I go through phases of drinking some of the sugar free mixes you showed in your video.

  7. Jagdtoq says:

The FDA approves it as a dietary supplement and not as a sweetening agent. That’s to allow drink makers to use derivatives. It’s banned in Europe mainly because it would compete with licenced sweetners and reduce profits for the food companies. It’s absorption is negligible in humans so there’s no meaningful scientific evidence to base the ban on.
    C’est La Vie :)

  8. MakeoverSessions says:

Have I? Thank you for letting me know…

  9. MakeoverSessions says:

Hi! Why is it banned there? I know that we have liquid stevia and packets at places like Whole Foods or Trader Joes…

  10. MakeoverSessions says:

I love that, “You keep your motor clean”, what a great way to say that!

  11. MakeoverSessions says:

What a lovely comment, thank you so much. It’s wonderful people like you that let me realize the stewardship I have with this mantle…Blessings to you.

  12. Jagdtoq says:

Stevia per se is banned in Europe and that was the case in the US, is it now legal there? I know derivatives are legalised.

  13. 21stCenturyCat says:

well you’ve certainly got me thinking…

  14. wwwesk87 says:

i dont thiink i will. im kinda hooked on pepsi, i have been since i was like 7. But i dont really drink. except on special occasions, and not much then anyways. its not fun tossing you cookies, and having to clean it up. You and Lisa are my favorites on this channel. you guys are what keeps me coming back.

  15. Goobian says:

No but I am a very deep thinker. I love anything that is thought provoking. Either it be a movie, tv show, music, anything on the internet etc. If it makes me think about my life and the world around me I enjoy it and look out for it.

  16. JoeFielding72 says:

You keep your motor clean. You are so beautiful. I enjoyed your video very much tonight. I hope you have a great Friday and I am sending you a Big hug and tons of kisses for your cheeks. I hope they bring you a big smile. God bless you and your family.

  17. MakeoverSessions says:

It’s NEVER too late to be your best, MrHollick. Remind me to tell you about my 98-year-old student. It’s quite a story! Thank you, so much for your comment. XO

  18. MakeoverSessions says:

Do you meditate as well? The clear mind- the quiet, really sharpens everything, every color, sound, smell, etc. It’s nice to know that you learned what drinking does to you. I just have to surmise.

  19. MakeoverSessions says:

Thanks! I think a glass of water is just wet UNTIL you add a lemon and a straw in stemware, then it’s a beautiful beverage! That’s funny about the “POT”, haha. That, from me, would be very funny and unlikely, and therefore more noteworthy!

  20. MaryJaneSlingBacks says:

You surprised me when you said “pot”(pause)”of herbal tea” I had to laugh for thinking it. Great video another benefit is beautiful skin. I find water with lemon very refreshing. –Rhana

  21. Goobian says:

I have never been a person to drink or do drugs. I would rather have a clear mind to enjoy life. I also feel bad in a way for people that feel they need to drink on the weekend to relax and have a good time. A lot people feel that way it seems and I couldn’t be around them when they are getting drunk. I have drank before and it feels just like I am really drowsy.

My gf is a recovering drug addict so that works out well. She has told me before that I help her w/ her sobriety.

  22. MrHollick says:

I think if you were my teacher I would have done better in school :)

  23. MakeoverSessions says:

    Cheers!

  24. MakeoverSessions says:

Amen about even water being toxicified, is that a word? Thanks for the feedback!

  25. TooFreakingRelaxed says:

    Continued …

There is a lot of sugar, salt, and preservatives in most package foods or drinks. Stevia is good but only if the sugar Gods let it be called a sweetener; Coke and Pepsi are working on that ironically!

  26. avriebell says:

Guys can get breast cancer, too. They have breast tissue too, they just have less of a risk.

  29. greycloud24 says:

@catherineful the cells themselves are overly healthy, the result of the overpopulation of these cells is the death of other cells. this is how cancer kills you. i was just pointing out a fact that many people did not know.

  30. catherineful says:

@greycloud24 cancer cells kill you!!!!! not very healthy if you ask me

  31. smellysmo says:

@BeautifulMind1982 Yeah I thought soybean ARE good.. help anyone?

  32. QuoGirl says:

@Pheorach how about you post a trusted link about the benefits of marijuana. If the media failed to mentioned the benefits instead of the cons, then WOW the media is SLOW. Well, I found the info on drug-abuse.suite101.com but I still doubt the benefits will make a medical breakthrough. This will only make marijuana ex-abusers JUSTIFY their reasons for the drug.

  33. QuoGirl says:

    @greycloud24 source????

  34. BeautifulMind1982 says:

I eat lots of vegetables and fruit daily and I have been a lacto-ovo vegetarian for 21 years. I don’t eat sweets or cakes or other foods high in saturated fat more than 2-3 times a month. I was diagnosed with breast cancer after a routine mammogram at the age of 48 in January. Have taken birth control pills for years and had my first child at 33, breastfed both my kids for an average of 3 years each. You never know what can predicate a cancer diagnosis. Eat well for life!

  38. henrykitoy007 says:

from time magazine start sweatin walking for the cure may help raise money to fight breast cancer, but walking- briskly can also help reduce your odds of developing the disease. the largest study yet on the subject shows that an hour or more a day of moderate to vigourous exercise may cut the risk of breast cancer by 20 percent .too much for you ? try two to four hours a week, which should lower the risk by 10 percent ok from time magazine

  48. LesIsMore1375 says:

It just improves your chances of not getting it.
It doesn’t claim to prevent it entirely.
    My mom had breast cancer.
She had genetic testing done and she doesn’t have the gene from what science has uncovered so far. But that doesn’t mean that I’m not at risk for it. I plan on doing what it takes to lower my chances.
For you to discourage people from even trying is ridiculous. There is no cure. This is proven to help. You have to at least try.
There’s always going to be exceptions. I’m sorry.

  49. cutiepie4164907510 says:

    uhh guys
    breast surgery is terrible
they will have to remove you breast

  50. coolrepublica says:

I just had to respond. All that they are saying here is bullshit. No one eats healther than I. Since my teens I have weigh between 115 to my now 130. I don’t drink, smoke and take really good care of myself and now I have stupid breast cancer. My mother died of lung cancer and the woman ate green vegetable as if it was going out of style. Ate healthy and never smoked. Did not know anyone who smoked. Died of lung cancer. If you are going to die you are going to die. Genetics is a bitch.
